So I just got these like 15 mins ago... very soft inside and out,
they may run small by the look of things,
certainly, more of a low rise brief so people with a belly might find it good...
Front and back waistbands back one seems larger.
Tall standing leak guards but not the tallest do seem decent.
The outer shell is plastic is very soft but not silky a slight texture to it.
Inner Core is soft but not the softest I've seen.
Hook and loop fastening seems strong.
yellow wetness indicator
leg gathers seem very elastic
very bold print down the center of brief certainly for more of institutional use.
the initial impression seems well built, of course, we will know more once we start testing and using the product...

I got my sample today. I’m hoping this is the diaper for me. Trying not to get my hopes up though

I received my first bag last week. I agree on the initial comments. They have a very interesting texture on the front tape zone for the velcro type tapes to attach to. They are very absorbent and I have had no leaks with them for the first 2 night I have used them. I ordered from XP Medical and delivery to Texas was very fast. By the bag they are a bit expensive for me at $34.00 per bag with shipping and now they ad tax! The per diaper cost would go down if you can get an entire case since no charge for shipping on cases. Around $91.00 per case of 56 diapers.

I can't stand cloth backed diapers so I never use velcro tabs, but now that you mention it, its a drawback not to be able to use packing tape to salvage a diaper with a torn tab.
Hopefully its just a fluke.

So I have used a total of 42 of these briefs in our review so far (not complete yet) both Med and large and we only had 1 tape issue that was a manufacturing issue (it still worked) However based on your comment I just did a quick test and Gorilla brand Packing tape does not seem to work as a backup tape on the hook and loop landing zone, but "Duck" Brand duct Tape does seem to work in case you have a tape failure!

It could be a fluke I don’t know. I’m just saying both of the xl diapers I used the tapes came off

certainly Manufacturing issues, I have found two more with tape issues that are possible with any product, and usually more common in the first production run.
bad luck you got two with the same issue!

I just received my two samples of this new diaper, but haven't been able to try them yet. I would suggest, if you haven't done so already, contact Xp Medical about the tape issues. In the past they have been very good at resolving any problems.
