On Friday night I got an overwhelming sickness.
I was in bed all day yesterday.
Went to urgent care this morning and found out I have a kidney infection. I started my antibiotics and anti nausea medication this morning. I threw up the first dose but was able to keep another one down. I have a horrible headache from throwing up and I just feel terrible in general. This is all due to the stupid self cathing. I'm never attempting it again.

Here is my hope that your antibiotic will soon kick in. Self-cathing can be hazardous indeed.

The sickest I ever got was after a surgery to fix a stricture the DR left a foley in me for 6 weeks to heal and after a few weeks I started to feel ill so I went back to the doctor about it and they shrugged it off a few days later I was VERY sick. I was very careful to keep everything sterile but no matter what Caths have a large chance of infection. so they are not my favorite item in the world.. I hope you recover quickly!

Thanks everyone. I just feel terrible. Good news is that my urine has cleared up.

Keep up that antibiotic; don't stop prematurely, before all those germs are dead.

Oh believe me Patrick I will. I want this damn thing GONE.

Thanks Dave. I feel better today. My kidneys hurt and I pee more than one should but I don't feel like I got hit by a truck.
