Blood in urine when cathing

I know its normal to have blood in your urine when you start to do intermittent catheterization but when does it stop? Thanks

Usually in a week or so.. I cath and ive had blood it doesnt last long

Also it only happens when I cath. If I skip a few times and pee into a diaper or something its clear.

make sure you wash your hands each time and use plenty of lubricant.
