I live in a rual area and travel alot. I usually stay in small motels.I put my diapers in small plastic bags,triple wrap the messy ones and put them in a small garabge bag. The motels allways have garbage cans outside and I can dispose of them myself.
Just recently I took a train trip to a large city and stayed in a hotel. Couldn't find any garbag cans and had to leave them in bathroom trash can for maid to take care of. Felt a bit guilty to have someone else take care of my diapers. Any suggestions.

No... what you did was the right thing. What else could you have done? The cleaning crew may have been a little grossed out about it but if you had it wrapped tight they did what they do & threw it away. I'm 100% sure they've already seen it in the past
